Innovation in the Workplace

April 1, 2009

Where does it say that innovation is what you work on, not how you work?

As I was Stumbling today, I came across a great tip on the  Behance Magazine’s site; Tip: Meet Until You’re Weak in the Knees.

“I try to make every meeting – especially those that are called last minute – a standing meeting…ideally each meeting finishes as quickly as it can.”

How many meetings have you been in where you spend 1 or 2 sitting around and have barely finished your task? Try having a standing meeting on one task at a time. This way everyone is eager to go sit down and tasks are assigned/completed without the leisure that makes it’s way into a meeting.

What ways can you think of revolutionizing the way you work?
